Tall Firs Productions is a Seattle-based media production company offering video production, animation, illustration, website design, photography, digital publicity, storyboarding, motion graphics, and more. We also offer media marketing and consulting, as well as helping businesses, organization, and artists set up beautiful websites to help further their brand online.
Our clients have included authors Alexander Chee, Anastacia-Renee, Jane Wong, A.N. Who We Are
Vasant and Sarah Salcedo are a filmmaking and writing partnership located in Seattle, WA. Together they own Tall Firs Productions and produce, direct, write, and animate quality films and videos; design graphics and websites; copy write; photograph authors and artist; and train authors in social media and others aspects of digital publicity.
Vasant has more than a decade of experience in video production and has traveled the world extensively, filming mini-documentaries for non-profit organizations.
Sarah is an author, illustrator, and was formerly marketing director of Hugo House, a literary center in Seattle, WA, before leaving to launch Tall Firs Productions as well as produce and direct their first feature film.
Both have dual degrees in English Literature and Comparative Literature: Cinema Studies from University of Washington.
Currently, their award-winning documentary, Promised Land (produced through their film company, Tall Firs Cinema) debuted fall 2016 in festivals and select theaters. The film was sponsored by 4Culture, Artist Trust, and San Francisco Film Society and is currently still showing in theatres. They are in pre-production on their next feature film.
